FRANK A. BRUNO has practiced law since 1981. He received his B.A. in 1977 and J.D. from Tulane University in 1981. He was also an Assistant District Attorney from 1981 to 1983 in Orleans Parish where he tried numerous judge and jury trials. After leaving the District Attorney’s office, he became a partner in the law firm of Bruno & Bruno from 1983 to 1994. He has been a sole-practitioner from 1994 to the present, practicing in the fields of State Workers' Compensation, Longshore and Harbor Workers, and Personal Injury. Mr. Bruno is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Work Place Injury Litigation (WILG) and the Christian Legal Society New Orleans Chapter. He is also a worker’s compensation panel attorney for the NFLPA. He has represented a number of professional athletes in their worker’s compensation claims in the sports of professional football, minor league baseball and professional basketball. Over the last 30 years he has spoken at numerous workers' compensation seminars. He has also participated in drafting legislation to benefit workers and lobbying on their behalf for the last 30 years.
